Code of Conduct and Core Values.pdf

Entrepreneurs strive every day to innovate, create and build something new that will make a difference. Through that process, it’s important to remember that entrepreneurs are people, building something for people, doing it through the help of people. By respecting ourselves and others we are able to both recognize the unique attributes we each bring to the table and the core values we can share.

The Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship recognizes our Core Values to include: Integrity - in everything we do Adaptability - in everything we try Commitment to our approach to entrepreneurship Family/personal priorities - we recognize that the Close School of Entrepreneurship is a part of each of us; and that our families are also an integral part of who we are. We strive to respect those dual roles. Healthy Living - physically and emotionally

More than just a list, we seek to practice these values every day. Our Code of Conduct helps us achieve those values: Upholding highest standards of intellectual honesty and integrity Treating colleagues and the public with dignity and respect Acting as good stewards of the resources entrusted to our care Refraining from discriminating against, harassing or threatening others Complying with all applicable laws and professional standards Respecting the intellectual property rights of others Reporting wrongdoing to the proper authorities Refraining from retaliating against those who do report violations, and cooperate with authorities accordingly Disclosing and avoiding conflicts of interest

In addition, the Close School encourages every student to review the Student Handbook including the Code of Conduct that is located at http://drexel.edu/studentaffairs/community_standards/studentHandbook/.
